Park Trail Guides, Flora and Fauna: Berm Lake Trail

Berm Lake TrailAlgonquin Pine Forest Ecology (4.5 km)
Located on the east side of Algonquin Park (a three hour drive from the hwy 60 part of the Park).
Numbered sections of text in this guide correspond to numbered posts along the trail.

The Berm Lake Trail is a 4.5 km loop trail beginning and ending adjacent to the Achray Campground. The trail takes you completely around pretty little Berm Lake and through pine and oak forests, typical of the Park's east side. While on the east side of the Park, you may want to check out the Barron Canyon and it's 1.5 km trail as well.
