Algonquin Spruce Bog Ecology (1.5 km)
Located 42.5 km from the West Gate or 13.5 km from the East Gate along highway 60.

The Spruce Bog Boardwalk trail is a 1.5 km, wheelchair-accessible loop which take you across two separate bogs, the Sunday Creek Bog and a small kettle bog. A very interesting trail introducing you to the history and ecology of Algonquin Park spruce bogs. Only .5 km from the highway access to the Visitor Centre(recommend driving due to highway). Traditionally a great trail to view some of Algonquin's northern bird species like the Spruce Grouse.
